Default Promising BPO career or home based work

I don't usually do this on online forums, but pila na ka adlaw gikutaw akong utok aning akong kakuli.an. I need some advice, guys.

I am currently assigned to a non-agent position and have been employed with my current company close to a year but I have been in the BPO game for a quiet some time now. Medyo challenging ang account but overall, I am happy and content. Recently a friend of mine referred me for a home based virtual assistant job. What attracted me to it was the ability to virtually work from home or anywhere as long as there is a stable internet connection (it's mostly emails and text messages, menos ang calls). Also, competitive kaau ang offer. They're offering me a slightly higher pay. Once I pass the probationary period which is 6 months, I'll be earning 50% more on top of what I'm earning now. So I hastily tendered a 30 day notice to my manager, but at the back of my mind ga urong-sulong ko. I'm happy with my job right now; the pay is good, there's the added benefits but as far as salary increases go you would have to be appraised annually. But then again the thought of working from home which affords me the luxury of being able to take care of my family and earn more is certainly very enticing.

My 30 day notice is almost up. Please help me decide.

For me lng ts, naay disadvantage and advantage between sa duha.

Nice ang office based kay naa tanan government benefits, which is for me mao ang pinaka importante. May na lng gud naa ta makuha inig ka tiguwang nato.
Sagaran man gud sa homebased jobs kay walay govt benefits and wla pud tax which is mao sad ni naka nindot kung homebase ka.

In the long run mas nice jud ang imo BPO job for me.

I’ve been working homebased for 6 years now. Not all homebased jobs are not stable. I can vouch for that as I have been working for my 2 clients almost 4 years now and they have given me several pay increases already.

If I were you, make sure first that the homebased job offered to you is for a long term work engagement. If it is I would go for it as pay would be higher for sure and its up to you to pay your sss, philhealth, and hmo yorself or not.

The only downside of having a home based job is not able to enjoy the benefit of having a 13th month pay or company's annual bonus (depends though) and paying your own sss + pagibig + phil health. SSS is half paid by the company.

If you value more time with family and flexible working hours if thats available then i would pick home based job. Also, when you are working outside your home, you'll spend likely 12-13 hours instead of 8-10 hours at home. Commuting these days is also an added stress.

For me ts, you have to think of long term plans. I used to work sa BPO and indeed, nindot gyud ang benefits especially if working ka sa good paying company. I started sa homebase after nako nanganak and it served me well gyud.

So kng karon, you want to spend more time with your family, I highly recommend ang homebase provided nindot and dli scam ang company/client. Daghan pd baya scam ang homebase (victim ko anang scam sadly). Aside sa imong homebase job, pwd gyud ka mag business ginagmay on your free time.
