new order was among the first bands i bought an album when i was building up my new wave collection n the 80s . trivia - i bought my joy diviision- unknown pleasure cassete tape from primrose '88 w/c iis still alive and pristine condition these days under the care from my bro luoell.

anyways wen i went to manila the first shirt i bought at harrison there ay the hip new wave boutique then apple Picker was a New Order shirt touch by the hand of god.

I dig this band bec. of their attitude and music and history..they maybe techno (amidst the techno poppy sound if u listen to their lyrics it is still mired in dark themes really) but their roots were ultra dark...and there is no ther band today that sounds like new order.that i am proud to say that..

also the fact that new Order was among the very first artists/band that would not have their pictures taken or have cover sleeve info on their records and they are notoriously evasive in granting interviews..they doint promote theyre album but yet it sells.. because theyre tenet is that the music if it is good sells for itself.
and no one beats the bass line of Peter Hook.
