    Default The DENGVAXIA Brouhaha!

    Hi there.

So I guess you guys know what has been happening around lately. The news about the Dengue vaccine that was administered to the 700,000 Filipino children with the name Dengvaxia is declared unsafe especially to children who has not had a history of Dengue fever. These children are in imminent danger because according to a recent study, this Dengvaxia vaccine can cause a severe form of Dengue fever to the children who took a shot of this Dengvaxia.

    Who is to blame?

I won't tell the whole story because resources are everywhere you just have to go find 'em, duh! But then, the question is, who is to blame?

The WHO (World Health Organization) already warned the Philippine government about the negative implications the vaccine. President Aquino, still, went to France to meet with the manufacturers of the vaccine despite of the warnings the WHO has raised.

And in just 3 weeks after the meet up with the manufacturers, voila! The Philippine FDA suddenly approved the Dengvaxia vaccine and was due to be deployed March the following year. Binuang right?

There's something fishy going on between those 3 weeks and the speculation of corruption cannot be removed. The Malacanang will leave no stones unturned and will investigate further on this matter.

In my opinion, if there was indeed corruption that took place, hopefully the people involved will be crucified. What's disgusting is that if this is true, they have used the lives of the 700,000 Filipino children and treated them like guinea pigs/rats for the sake of their self interest.
