    Default Need Help: External HD Problem


    Hi,

    I have WD Elements 1 TB. Dili na nako xa ma open. Detected xa as Local Disk (F. If ako i double click naa error:

    F: is inaccessible. Parameter is Incorect. then followed by You need to reformat...."


    Any tools i can use to recover it?

    Try daw right click then open. Try pud scan using malwarebytes.

    corrupted entries,

    if naa ka USB strick (Linux or Bootable XP) try booting and scan from there.

    Current Operating System Win7:

    Open CMD.exe always Run as Administrator

    Hello, istoryans maki hitch lng ko ani nga thread since i have same external HDD problems too..

    naa sd ko WD 1tb nga external hdd mu read ra sya sa win 7 pero dri sa laptop nko (win 10) d mu read, tried updating and installing drivers for the hdd dle lng gihapon mu read.

    try ni nga software sir. mao ni nkasulbad sa ako problem, na recover nako ako mga files gamit ni.

    I think you need to Reinsert the Hard drive or you can insert that drive your friend computers to check whether it is working on his/her computer. If it will work move your important data in the secondary device. If not, Then format your drive and use esus data recovery software to recover your data.

    Have you tried using Time Backup to recover this drive? It helped me in a similar situation.
