If I would open a call center, is it a good business?

Its good from stockholders and employees standpoint kay patok gyud na siya ron now that the economy is shifting from Industrial Age to Information Age. With the hi-tech environment, just don't forget to treat employees as humans not machines and BPO will surely be a mutually-benificial haven for both capitalist and working class.

How do we market or get clients on this kind of business?

clark: actually, bisan asa ka nga country nga naay callcenter ni emerge kulang man gihapon ug applicant ilang reasons.. impossibly man sad gud ng one country has all the applicants or skills and competencies needed.

hacxcena: usually they have their marketing arm outside the country. like with MT (med trans) most pinoys would partner filipinos who has strong connections in the u.s especially in the medical sector.

yes, it is indeed a good business, but the thing is you need to have the enough capital, right people (your staff)and connections here and your foreign counterpart who would be able to look for accounts to be outsourced here in P.I. The current trend nowadays is that you can already establish a small to mid sized contact center catering to small entrepreneurs in the US. I know this for a fact bec. I am working right now as a partner in US start up BPO company here.. BPO is a good business venture but in abroad there are people who disapproved of this concept coz we are taking their jobs off from them.

exactly, we will be taking away the jobs which was for them hihih.. but now ato na nyahahaa.. bitaw, now a days, i think were more capable than them. this is based on stuffs that im handling right now that i need to get in touch with our sub offices outside pinas and observation nako?? wow! ang galing ng pinoy.. pero ang sad part.. naa ang discrimation kay dli nila madawat nga sa pinoy sila mangayu ug tabang in setting up their org. tsk tsk tsk.. but im working on it na.. at least ebefriend lang nimo mo start na sila ug trust nimo..
