My windows explorer quits after few seconds when I am browsing my files?Help!

Can anybody guide me thorugh fixing this problem, or should I need to reformat my PC?

When I log-in to my PC, and open up windows explorer, and browse files on C,D,E,etc....as long as it inside the explorer...the explorer suddenly closes. Please help where I can troubleshoot this culprit....do I need to reformat?

Have you scanned your computer?

Try other Antivirus like NOD32, Kapersky, Panda, Avira, Avast.

consider SHENGTON's recommendation sir. it might be a dreadful virus lurking at your system. if everything fails, i guess you have to reformat your PC. :mrgreen:

Try scanning using online scanner like F-Secure, Trend Micro, Bit Defender... If your computer doesn't allow you then it is 99% infected by a malware.

before that try going to safe mode and see if you can use the explorer, unininstall some useless softwares

it will delete all excess and illegitimate scripts.
