If I connect the PLDT router/modem directly to my PC, internet is ok. However, when I connect the PLDT router/modem to my Asus RT N-18u (already flashed to TomatoUSB), then to my PC, there is no internet. How am I to resolve this?

asa nimo gitaud imong cable from pldt to router? like unsa nga port #s or labels para ma klaro.
@Htennek, I connected the cable from pldt to router thru the router's WAN [Internet] port
pwede nimu suwayan ug clone ang pc to router boss..
tanawa ni https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rc...26a1bV0zt6MjBQ
This is what i usually do.
If 192.168.1.1 ang main router .... my other routers will not be under 192.168.1.#
Boss @Allan Latras , try to use any IP for the Asus except the 192.168.1.#
We have somewhat similar situation the only difference is that my routers are connected wirelessly.
- Disable DHCP on the Asus router (Let the PLDT router do the IP handling)
- Change the Asus router IP Address outside your PLDT router's DHCP Range (IP addresses nga ihatag ni PLDT router to any device connected to it)
- DHCP Range sample (192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.99) notice nga sunod ra sya from your PLDT router IP 192.168.1.1
- Your ASUS Router IP address should not be within that DHCP Range or else mao na mgka IP Address conflict (you can use any # until 192.168.1.255)
- Once IP address is set make sure they are on the same Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Edit: You mentioned nka Tomato WRT ka, set the Asus router to AP Mode, I guess automatic na sya mu set sa imong IP or else do it manually nlng.
Disclaimer: I am not a Networking expert but this is what I did for my Globe & ASUS router. Anyone can post and correct me if I am wrong here.
