    Default NBA 2007-08 Season

This thread is intended for the NBA 2007-08 Season.

    Here's for a start:

    Boston 89, Toronto 85

Kevin Garnett scored 19 points and hauled down 16 rebounds in his Boston Celtics debut and shot 50% (8/16) from the field in the NBA Live Europe Tour. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with game high 21 points and shot a better 8/14 from the field. Ray Allen was limited to only 10 points and shot 4/13 and 1/6 from behind the arc. Eddie House came of the bench for the Celtics and scored 14 points.

It was not a bad game for Toronto either. 4 of the Raptors managed to score in double digits led by TJ ford's 15 points. Andrea Bargnani had 13 while both Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon had 12 points each.

    Minnesota 84, Efes Pilsen 81

In the other NBA Europe Live game, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Efes Pilsen 84-81. Ricky Davis and Ryan Gomes led the Timberwolves with 12 points a piece who had 5 players in double digits.

Note: Both the Toronto Raptors and the Minnesota Timberwolves sported new jerseys. The white, green and red combination for the Raptors worked well but Minnesota's dark blue and red combination looked awful.

Naa na ang Miami, the Heat lost to the Detroit Pistons 103-86. Detroit was in full force minus Lindsey Hunter and Amir Johnson. Miami was without Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O'Neal, Antione Walker, Smush Parker, Alonzo Mourning, Udonis Haslem and Anfernee Hardaway. Newcomers Marcus Slaughter and Brian Chase led Miami with 17 points and 13 points apiece. Jason Williams even just played for only less than 17 minutes in the game.

In the other game, Josh Smith and the Atlanta Hawks spoiled Dwight Howard's 30 points and 11 rebounds effort and Rashard Lewis' Orlando debut as the Hawks narrowly won over the Magic 94-93. Smith scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Atlanta.

New York won over Philadelphia, 101-92
