    Default 2016 Weight Loss challenge


    Hello istorya,

    As a way to promote a healthy lifestyle, I propose a challenge to anyone who's interested here. The old thread was still from 2014! haha

    What is it? It's a weight loss challenge. Because let's face it, some people are too busy with their lives that they neglect their weight and health. And a way to kickstart everything and to lose weight is by joining a challenge. It's an added motivation for the people interested.

    So how are we doing this? You should only weigh yourself at the start(before the challenge), and every 30 days until you reach your goal weight!

    Post your starting weight and height and your goal weight. I'll try to calculate a rough estimate of your daily caloric needs. Let's try to promote a healthy diet. No FAD diets please. We want to build a habit of eating healthy and right. To track your calories, I would suggest downloading the app from https://www.myfitnesspal.com/

    I'll try to secure a small prize to raffle para sa people that reach their goal weight in 90 days.

    I weigh 84kgs before when my lower back pain was so unbearable. I had a debulged disc between my L4 and L5 years ago and physiotherapy is not possible anymore. I needed to under go a minimally invasive spine reconstruction surgery. But I needed to lose weight before the operation. my ideal weight is 70kgs so I needed to lose 14kgs in 6months. I tried detox by juicing. I read a book and tried juicing fresh fruits and vegetables for 7 days, no solid foods. on the 8th to 12th day, I drink juice in the morning, fruits on lunch and dinner. on the 13th day until now, I eat oatmeal on breakfast, half rice(sometimes I substitute it with camote) steamed or boiled fish/chicken for lunch; fresh fruits, salads or wheat bread for dinner. I had a successful spine reconstruction last year. My current weight is 70kgs. I dont eat pork and fried foods. I dont drink softdrinks. Ive done that for the past 1year ad 6 months already.
