Check if your hard drive is failing. Check if the noise level or db of a hard drive is normal or not.

I have a 1TB WD black HDD for my desktop and it is actually noisy, than my other blue and green one. I search over the net and found this website and it helps you determine if your hdd is failing or not.

And yeah, my HDD is normal since the WD black one is a performance drive and that is why it is noisier than other drives.
