ATI Catalyst Control Center wont launch

ATI Catalyst Control Center wont launch....
it work before when i first installed the radeon9250 pero after i installed other softwares after that
dili na mo launch ang control center and di na ma access ang graphic setting. murag in default ra iya settings
di ko ka tweak sa mga settings since di jud mo lunch

kapila na ni nako gi-reinstall, uninstall completely all the drivers etc but di jud molaunch ni sya... i have downloaded ati cat-uninstaller para mawala jud ang trace sa control center and also run a registry cleaner to remove entries of ati drivers and then installed all versions of net framework since kinahanglan man ni to launch the ati control center pero di ghapon after I reinstalled it. HELP kung kinsa nakasolve ani nga problem

I think the only option for me is to remove the card and use the built in video and remove again any traces of the ati programs but im not sure if this will work and hasul na to open up my pc and do all this. So unsa kahay problem ani. any suggestions, comments and bangka kug jollibee choco sundae kung kinsa makatabang nako ani. hehehe

For new Catalyst Software you need to install the Microsoft .NET framework v2.

can be downloaded here: Microsoft .NET frame Network 2

or could be a wrong version for the Catalyst. i.e: you downloaded the catalyst for x1xxx and HD2xxx series.

good point bro. well i have the .net framework v2 already in my system. and i have the catalyst v6.11 which is the latest for my radeon 9250 (http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/x...rer300-xp.html) so as far as compatibility is concern, i have checked everything and its not that. Like i said, it was working before and then after I installed winamp, divx codecs and a soccer game, it just stop working. so i reinstalled the .net framework, drivers etc.. i even installed the .net framework v3. sigh.

parehas na sako control center bay. the ATI overdrive feature heavily messed up my VC. I need to disable the Overdrive to elimenate the issues. Have to contend with 2d clocks.

well first I used the add/remove programs sa windows then clean up the registry with registry cleaner. that didnt work so i downloaded the ati-complete uninstaller software and completely uninstalled the drivers plus the catalyst center. still didnt work mao gipangita jud nako sa registry and manually remove the ati registry keys. still didnt work after i installed the catalyst control center, di jud mudagan

Can you try another user in windows and install on that user.

I have experienced that symptom but a simple restart would fix it.

Try daw after a fresh instal thenl defrag your HD.

Experienced one time pd na namatay ako ATI Catalyst Control Center, I ddnt mind ra pd ky tagsa ra mn ko mo.gamit ana or tweak... pro when i did a full scan with NOD32, naa virus ako Catalyst files and cannot be removed... delete nlng nako ang infected files... downloaded a new one and reinstalled... I disabled it at start up na though... tipid RAM... =)

try any disk utility.
or
Try clean install for your windows sharo. SUspect ana bro is the motherboard. Some P35 motherboards have issues with radeon cards.

unsa version imo Catalyst Control?... me sad naa problem, ky f mg install ko sa ako Catalyst Control ky madaot ang graphix sa ko os mura na ug wala video card... huhuhu

i think my problem started when i unchecked the option that shows the control center on the system tray. samukan man gud ko daghang icons ako system tray so ako sya gi-remove didto.. so murag didto nagsugod ang problem. cge ill try to install it to a different user.. update lang nya tamo
