WHAT DO THINK OF HAVING AN AUCTIONEER HERE IN CEBU

WHAT IS AUCTION
An auction is a process of buying and selling goods or services by offering them up for bid, taking bids, and then selling the item to the highest bidder.

There are a number of auctioneers in Luzon area, I just wonder why there isn’t one here in Cebu? I see advantage to all parties with auction system. Even Japan does this a lot because they see it as fair price from buyer's point of view, and we call them SURPLUS, like the smallest furnitures to the humongous excavator we see destroying our “hamis nga karsada para himo-an og bago nga hamis gihapon”.

Here is what I see advantages for both parties:
FOR SELLER or CONSIGNOR:
they can help you advertise and sell your items with just a part of the winning bid for the auctioneer, ofcourse it will only be sold with your approval.
This also means that you don’t have to rent an office space or a stall to sell your stuff, which also means less “Tindera” to maintain, and no government documents/permit to apply for.
FOR BUYER or BIDDER
you may buy items with the specific amount you want to buy. Who knows, you may be the only bidder so you could win the item with just an inch higher than the bottom price of the seller’s agreed price.
This also means that buy and sell business would be good for you. You buy stuff for a cheap price, and then sell them at reasonable price at your barangay.

So what do you think guys? Would Cebu want an auctioneer? Wouldnt it vanish kay wlay mamalit?

Pwede kaayo since daghan benefits ang buyers sa auction. They can buy any item at cheapest price. Plus pwede sad buy and sell. Been to one auction in Manila. Sakyanan to gi auction ato. Nakuha ra namo less than the market value, so win win mi ato. The only problem siguro ani sa Cebu is, startup pa man siya. Magpaila pa ang "Auction" na market. Basin maglisod kadyot. Pero daghan man datu sa Cebu. You wont have a problem, muclick ra na in time.

yeah, kailangan pa jud magpaila. naka koha ra ko idea from TV, but when i saw the actual sa manila, including sa mga buyers, dha pa ko naka realize nga mas benefited jud ang businessmen ani kay barato ra jud ila mapuhunan sa ila buy & sell.

yeah, kailangan pa jud magpaila. naka koha ra ko idea from TV, but when i saw the actual sa manila, including sa mga buyers, dha pa ko naka realize nga mas benefited jud ang businessmen ani kay barato ra jud ila mapuhunan sa ila buy & sell.

i think if naay ilado nga paintings, chairs, vintage cars, etc. kay daghan mo apil ana nga mga kwartahan

Pwd bt not limited to "mahalon" stuff. Even like mga power tools, or bisan mga yantas sa mga sakyanan, mga ginagmay nga pwd ma negosyo sa atong fellow cebuanos.

I believe open for all man tingali ang tanan auctions bt wla pa pud ko kta og auction nga wla nag require og membership.., bt anyways, refundable man pud ang deposit sa pagpa member
