    Default AutoCAD 2008 Thread

    im starting this thread for a place to ask questions and give tips and tricks about AutoCAD 2008

    let me start with my question

    in 2008 when i use force snapping i press shift+right click then "E" for endpoint of a line, in the old version you could do this then without letting go of the shift key ,transfer to another snap like say "M" for midpoint.
    in 2008 however i have to press shift+right click E for endpoint,then you have to let go and shift-right click again then M for midpoint

    is there any setting i can configure to make it like the lower versions??

    ganahan man unta ko ug AutoCAD since nigraduate nako sa MANUAL DRAFTING...

    REVIT for the win!

    No more drawing sa elevations and perspectives. Anig drawing nimo sa floor plan, naa nakay instant elevations and perspectives.

    Anig ilis pud nimo sa floor plan, elevations, sections, perspectives or any view imong ganahan, mu-update nasad tanan drawings nimo sa plano. Asa ka ana? Dili naka mangita ug 10 drawings usbonon just because your client wanted something else.

    Pero you just have to completely forget everything that you learned in AutoCAD lang kay wala gyud ka-relation ang Revit sa AutoCAD.

    Murag ingon ani:

    AutoCAD = notepad
    Revit = MS Word

    Sorry if naay diehard AutoCAD user naglagot sa post nako dinhe. Diehard AutoCAD user man sad ko sauna. Gamit na gud ko ug AutoCad since version 6 pa na. DOS pato sauna... boot2x pa ug 5.25" floppy disks...

    Until I saw the Revit light... everything has changed.

    OT: manoyjoe, CIT pud ka graduate? CIT pud ko CE batch 2003. I agree that Arct. Bartulins is a great instructor. Naa man siya mga construction projects karon. Usahay mag-abot pud mi.

    FYI: Revit can export to dwg format.

    Bati lang kaayo dinhe kay murag walay lain taga cebu nga nigamit na ug revit. When I print my plans I print it to PDF then plot it para wala libog sa lineweights and besides walay lain makabasa ug .rvt nga format kay wala pa kaayo revit users sa cebu.
