Question on Computer Consumption [another rant?]

Greetings to All!,

sa pag post nako diri before with efficiency in mind on PSU's, ug since dili manta makapalit ug low wattage PSU's diri, ma-o nalang ni usa sab ka pangutana.

ato ibutang ing-ani:
20watt proc (intel xeon e3-1220L series)
20watt motherboard (I'm not sure kung pila highest, pero murag dako nani ka-ayo ang 20watts)
10watt other components (ssd, fans, etc)

ato ibutang nga 50watts total peak consumption overall.
or hatagan pa gyud nato ug additional 20watts allowance, so lets say 70watts total peak power consumption sa imo system.

sa ako nakita diri sa Cebu kay pinaka ubos wattage nga 'reliable' PSU kay 450 watts bronze/gold range.

kung bu-ot huna-huna-on kay overkill ra ka-ayo ang 450watts nga PSU to the items above or even with a typical system nga intel g series without discrete gpu attached.


karon ako gi-huna-huna kay:
ibutang lang nga na-a koy makita nga 200watts nga PSU (bronze/gold rated), pila kaha savings nato ani in terms of electricity cost/savings per month comparing a 200watts PSU vs a 450watts PSU of the same grade?

in theory bro, mas maka save ka sa naka 200 W PSU kay ang highest efficiency rating aning tanan PSU kay @ 50% load man. diri nato ma enjoy ang atoang gi bayad sa PSU... if less or more than 50% ang PSU load, ubos ra ni sila'g efficiency rating...

ma solve ra ni sya. dili lang ko familiar sa formula... pwede ra ni ma research hinoon sa net. or, ang mga electrician, electrical fanatics/ hobbyist and electrical eng'rs (ug uban pa na suhito ani) na mga kakusa nato, pwede ni sila maka tubag sa "theoretical savings" between both PSUs...

how about sa manila bro? nag try ka'g search sa online sellers like sa TPC?

wala. kung naa minus ra kaayo. take note, low-power na target ang imo system, aside lang sa psu which is magagad ra pud sya kung pila ang need sa system.
