kinsa'y gagamit/nakagamit ug Ubuntu phone? unsa'y ayo sa non-app-centric environment? thoughts?

promising kaau ang ubuntu OS. hehe.. not so sure kung naa nay na-release na ubuntu phone. dugay nako wala mu-follow sa ilang progress. but I tried using their ubuntu OS sa akong S2 before. daghan lang bugs ug hassle usahay gamiton, dli pa flawless ang operation sa integration. but it was worth a try...

@vladmire: naa 2 bq ubuntu phones and 1 meizu. sa EU ra sila available until a couple of days ago (argh!). was recently able to get the Aquaris E5 after a lot of hassle with shipping (before they started selling globally). ended up paying more than twice the price tungod sa customs + shipping.

sakto ka, daghan pa bugs pero consistent ang updates. i'm still trying to figure it out and open to discussion pa na if it will be any better than android or iOS in the next few years. at least it's a breath of fresh air after years of android.

@nyor: available na sya for worldwide shipping. pero ako nahibaw-an sa bq global site ra. basin naa pud lain nag offer pero wa ko kibaw.

@Reginald when i tried it with my s2, i cant even use my sim/data. it wont even recognized my sim at that time. hopefully, anytime soon, bugs will be fixed and it'll be available here in the market(phils). I must say, the look and feel of the os itself is an eye candy... I cant even compare it to android os/theme... its just, plain b-e-a-tiful!
