Prince Charming’ Will Be Disney’s Next Live-Action Fairy Tale Movie
The success of Cinderella and Maleficent has Disney continuing to mine fairy tales for live-action fare. The latest character coming to life on the big screen is Prince Charming, known among other things for courting the titular debutante in Cinderella and delivering the resuscitating kiss in Sleeping Beauty for Disney during the 1950s. Matt Fogel, who worked with the pre-Lego Movie duo of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on 2009’s Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, penned the spec script for the comedy project.
With the titular character being a stock character, I wonder which charming prince they're going to adapt.

all them princes were created to be 'oh so charming' (in general). i hope they'd go for the one in beauty and the beast.

Disney is already working on a live-action Beauty and the Beast with Dan Stevens as the prince.

Maybe they can do multiple princes or composites in one film. Go for a comic Robin Hood or Captain America-like prince and not an I-was-raised-to-be-charming-not-sincere prince from Into the Woods.

ah si prince thor. i honestly could not think of him as a disney prince although he has the background: from battles fought to matters of the heart. but imho, he's too manly for disney. Originally Posted by geo25
