SE question: whats the diff bet. K and W series?

We all know that K- for camera while W - for walkman.. the question is what makes them different with each other if we know for a fact that they so share the same features....

Like W610i has the same camera resolution and feature with K550i, while K550i also has walkman feature same with W610i, ryt?

well for starters the K series has better/more camera features although they might have the same resolutions.
the W series i think has a newer/better version of the Walkman player or something..

katong una pa nigawas ang K750i ug W800, pareha ra cla camera though mas slightly better quality ang pics taken sa earlier versions sa W800i. mas better build ang W800i; plasticky ang K750i pro mas daghan prefer sa black design nya.

sa W900i, bsag W series sya, na sya "spot photometry" cam feature not found on other models or even K series at that time. na ba ni nga feature run sa K800 series?

basta kng W series Walkman man ang user interface tingale tanan.

K stands for camera W stands for walkmaan. as what iv observe is k series have bigger internal memory but quite smaller xternal memory capacity. most k series man gud could only handle 2G maximum memory capacity while in the other hand w series have smaller internal memory but bigger xternal capacity most w series can run 4G external memory i tried it with my w810i makabasa pa xa ug 4G aside from that its much more easier to manage you playlist with w series phone rather than k series. the advantage with the k series is mas powerful ang hardware feature nya wen it comes to camera and video playback coz as what iv notice a k750 can run a miximum of 15fps nga dili pa magungotungot but w series can only run 10fps lang nga mp4. but you can have both features on both phones by flashing it with a different firmware as long as its compatible with your phone hardware. like the k750 can be flashed with a w800 firmware and vice versa or a k800 flashed with a k810 firmware. you can also have a much more quality cam by changing it with a modified driver you can also replace your k750i acoustic driver to have a w series quality souds. you can also skin the MP. in short you can maximize all its capabilities by modding it. syempre mo matter pa gihapon ang hardware capabilites (kung hangtud asa ang kaya sa hardware sa phone) lingaw sad bya. :mrgreen:

not really... k series using m2 memory cards are the newer models. old k series used the msproduo.

@box2joe: w series runs mp4 at 10fps? My GF's w810 can play videos at 17fps pretty.. that's what I use to encode mp4 videos for her and my k750 can play 17fps too (di man mag ungot2x.. heheh). But recording framerates are really slow though. Maybe at about 10-15fps.

your lucky if you have that kind of phone coz in mine i can only mannage to run an mp4 file at maximum of 15fps beyond that moungot na xa. i have 3 phones k750i a w800i and a w810i and they all do near have the same and capabilties but to my surprise the w810i is the weakest among them as what i noticed moungot na xa when i run 15fps mp4 k750 works better on 15fps and w800 looks kinda liittle bit slow. hehehehe so your lucky bro if thats the case i hope my phones have the same power as your have.

hmm.. maybe its the mp4 encoder thats making it play poorly.. i use imtoo 3gp video converter 3.1.7 to make mp4 videos.. feel lang nako ha.. there could be many possibilities making it play poorly..

hmmm.... cguro bro. i was using winAVI converter bro. nakatry man ko imtoo3GP b4 but 3pg raman iya output format after that i didnt bother of trying it again even to the new version na nya. ill it try kanang imong converter bro basin ipektibo jud.
