Job Description


A PHP Web Developer who takes pride in good code and loves new technologies. You should feel comfortable working directly with stakeholders, designing solutions, and managing your own work. We are looking for someone to own their project lifecycle, from start to finish.


Essential Job Functions:
Planning and building PHP web apps from ground up
Interpreting functional requirements of software and translating these requirements into a working application
Appreciation of good, clean code
Supporting end-users
Providing technical expertise on projects


Desired Skills and Experience:


Requirements:
2-3 years of experience with PHP and MySQL databases (designing, programming, tuning)
A solid understanding of object oriented design & programming
Highly skilled in HTML, CSS, JSON, Javascript, and jQuery
Cross-browser development experience
Basic server administration tasks




Preferred Skills:
Unit testing
Source control SVN and GIT preferred
Understanding of shopping cart platforms
Familiarity with e-commerce and shopping carts preferably cs cart
and smarty template engine
