Does that mean you are willing to pay as much as the other prominent companies would pay them? I mean, if you were the graduate(knowing you're good), you'd go to a company that pays the highest right?

Hahaha, sorry about that. Anyway, I'd consider CIT-U, USC-TC, UP, PUP, UST, and MSU. I've heard a lot of good comments about the school's training when it comes to programming or any other IT aspects. There maybe more, but those are the Universities that I only know so far. For me, it's not really the university, it's up to the student to be the "best software engineer" that you want.
University for me is just a plus.
You don't know that a student from a small university, when given a chance, can surpass the student(big university) that you're looking for.

i personally know a lot of great software developers with great work ethic who came from obscure universities. I also know a lot of jack-ass/feeling-entitled brats who came from 'best' universities. I think you've got to market your job openings in a way that would attract top talent. but if I have to rank them, then: 1st - USC-TC, 2nd-USJR, 3rd-CIT, 4th-UP
