looking for a good digital SLR, cheap and of good quality, anyone know of any recommended brands?

hopefully either something below 40k. if not then below 50k

I just bougt the cheapest one out there... I'm not a pro pero I wanna get better pictures than those point and shoot ones. I got the Nikon D40 for $500 (apil na ang 18-55mm lens, carry bag, Tripod, 1 gig mem card) .. + a 55-200mm zoom lens ($240) ... it's a great camera for beginners like me.

500$+240$ for a lens? ouch i really need alot of money ><

i heard from a friend kodak sucks.

im leaning towards a nikon or canon, sony is just too expensive

Lokster.. sa Hong Kong .. it was 100$ cheaper kaysa diri sa States pero problema lang kay sa Asia among warranty. The zoom lens diri na nako gi palit.

bro, if di ka mo mind ug second hand...makapalit man ka EOS 10D around 25k, so naa pa ka nahabilin na 15-25K for a bnew lens
