Default Macbook doesn't boot after a fail installation

    Help please

    After a fail installation of OS X 10.9 Mavericks http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/9104190/Mac_OS_X_10.9_Mavericks_Install_DVD_Retai l'
I restarted my mac, and tried it again. But then, failed.

I shut it down. And turning it on afterwards. And There it goes.. it keeps flashing a missing file. Like a question mark inside a folder

I tried the so called recovery mode. But it didn't work.
    Tried pressing option/alt key
    Tried pressing command + R

    Didn't work.
For the alt key is only a wifi icon an a selection for networks.

For the command + R key is a missing folder ( Like a question mark inside a folder)

    Please help.

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.

Unsa ni year imung macbook air sir? I will have to check the specs and the highest OS X version that it can run (specially that it comes way back from 10.6.X).

You can create a boot disk based on 10.6.X but you will need access to a mac and a 10.6.X vanilla installer to create it. The OS is a bit older so it may be difficult to find. There are lots of tutorials online. Just google it.

When you said dili maka view ug disk, asa ni nimu nakita? Was it from Disk Utility?

Like I said, you just need to create a boot disk based on whichever OS X version you so desire. This is assuming that your MBA still can detect USB and Flash drives.

Ako nasabtan, you can't boot but you can enter into recovery mode. If so you can use disk utility and run FIRST AID (verify and repair disk permissions) kung ma dala.
Nag wait pako sa imo mga tubag bro.hehehe
Ni ambak man sad ka dayon from Snow Leopard to Mevericks oi.hehehe

I agree. If you can only go into recovery mode (assuming your flash drive is still working fine), you have a greater chance of making it work. Of course, you have to have the appropriate boot disk.
