it does factory unlock the unit (tried it on my units), globe firmware will be wiped clean, pero dli pwede e reset ang device, which ma semi-brick but ma recover ra pud... no reason man pud imo e reset ang modem, kana ug katol gyud ang kamot, hehehe... supposedly on/off ra gyud ang modem ug mag change sim...

don't forget notice sa website...

akoa, Bro Huawei jud pero ako cousin ako gi flashed to universal firmware then reset using 30-30-30 ok ra man. at first i thought na bricked kay wala mo ON, wa diay na connect ang adaptor hehehe

no need. bro. same upgrade procedure as the normal router/modem... but if you are not so sure as said by orochimaru700 leave it to the experienced one. pero kung ma brick nimo imo router naa man daghan way para mabuhi na, kapoy lang hehehe
