In this episode Steve debunks three popular forms of Wi-Fi security: MAC address filtering, WEP encryption, and SSID hiding. He explains why none of these are effective security except against casual snoops. If you're responsible for protecting a Wi-Fi access point, this is a must listen podcast.

    Episode 12 is here!!!

This is a very important episode it explains Sony BMG using RootKit technology to enforce its DRM (Digital Rights Management).

This poorly written software unnecessarily employs classic rootkit technology (see episode #9) to hide from its users after installation. It can not be uninstalled easily, it can be easily misused for malicious purposes, and it has been implicated in many repeated BSOD "blue screen of death" PC crashes.

Rootkits technology can also be use for spyware like CoolWebsearch that installs and hides in the OS by hooking itself in the windows kernel, so your anti-virus, anti-spyware cant detect it.

Here are tools to Find out if you have Rootkits in your system.
