HOW TO WORK THE IPOD and STEREO at the same time (GUIDE)

THIS WAS TESTED ONLY WITH IPOD 5th GEN (IPOD VIDEO)
will test it soon with the others when I can borrow.

The secret is to let your IPOD shut down by itself (Auto shut off) before plugging it to the pioneer CD-IB100. YOu will then get the charging signal, then press menyu and voila browse through your IPOD or through your Pioneer stereo.

Remember, you have to let the ipod auto shut down AND NOT THE FORCE SHOT DOWN (pressing play/pause button.) The auto shutodown will take about 1 minute or so (didnt actually time it)

When you disconnet you IPOD from the CD-IB100 you have to go through the auto shutdown again but if you leave your IPOD connected, shutdown your car and start your car again there is no need to go through the auto shutdown process anymore.

Try googling Ipod2Car Thats is even a better gadget coz you can control both ways on the IPOD and on the car stereo. It plugs in to your cars CD Changer so when you order you have to specify your stereos mode num.

Btw, sorry bout the news bro. Hope your aite.

well you can always do that with your IPOD but the point is, you would want to control the IPOD on your car stereo
Most radios right now already come with aux in (audio input) all you need to do is extend that cable out somwhere then plug in your IPOD there via a 3.5mm to RCA cable. But again, you wont be able to control your IPOD on your car stereo but the audio would definitely sound better already!
