dual OS win98SE(1st partition) XP Pro(2nd partition) 3rd partition kay mga downloaded files(FAT 32 tanan partition)

reinstall nako ang winxp... boot from winxp cd... then giformat ang 2nd partition para sa xp

then dugay na mo boot ang xp... dli pareho sauna... ni-lahi na ang dagan sa xp... hinay na compared sauna

labi na sa games na akong na install balik lahi nasad ang dagan ani compared sauna...

ngano mani?

wlay man natandug ang mga memory ddr768 man... wla man gi ablihan... pero try lang nako tarongon ang mga memory

start from scratch.... remove all os... reset your bios and configure it back.you may also want to check your DIMMS first, then use memtest86+

then start reinstalling softwares. 98SE then XP

i suspect some hard-to-read sectors have developed on the surface of your hard disk's platter, forcing the IDE Controller to make many read retries and thus slowing down your system.

format x: /s/c/u/v

x is drive allocated to your xp

after that..install your win xp

not quick format... full format using winxp cd..d ba naa didto choices format(quick), ntfs, blah blah blah... pero ako gi-pili katong fat32 nga dli quick

ako sad gi-try boot from cd using win98 dayon start computer w/ cdrom support dayon gi-format nako ang 2nd partition...
then intall didto ang winxp... mao ra gihapon ang resulta
