Hi mga Sirs! mag ask lang ta ko...i recently bought a O2 xda zinc... lingaw na kaayo ko ani na phone...ang ako nalang gyud wala ma gamit or mtestingan ang WIFI capability niya...

mag ask lang ko...pareha raba na sa laptop na wifi capable pud... mangita lang ug HOTSPOT unya kung dili mangayo ug passkey then maka connect raka dritso...

naka suway nako ug pangita ug network then naka kita akong phone pero inig internet nako dili manghapon basin restricted ang access adto pero not sure gihapon...

unya asa mangyud ang mga free na hotspots sa CEBU...ug unsay mga name sa providers...

mao pud ni akong mga questions ug hopefully someone might give some of their tech advises regarding how i can connect my phone thru WIFI

how you setup the wifi connection (WLAN)? I tried scanning the wifi router.. (I was in paseo before ug free daw ang wifi connection).. it detected it.. when I tried running the setup of the phone.. it gave me some settings regarding authentication (OPEN and SHARED only), tapos ang iyang Network kay either Infrastructure or Ad Hoc..

when I tried to use OPEN sa Authentication and Infrastructure sa network.. it gave me an error - Unable to connect...

However if akong e.set ang Authentication to Shared and Network to Ad Hoc.. It would prompt me nga 'connected' already...

Pero ang problema na karon kay when i went inside sa Web application sa phone ug mo type-in kog website e.g. www.google.com/www.cnn.com. it will give me an error - Unable to login to remote server...

Unsa may problema jud mga bros? nag wonder lang ko, asa ko nasayop pag setup sa Wifi..

thanks mga sirs, but Im actually looking on how you can connect using WIFI.. particularly the steps/procedures (in details) on how to connect or setup WIFI on a P990i phone.

joshbonz ang imong first step open > infrastructure sakto na open meaning walay authentication required to connect to the router. infrastructure meaning kanang mo connect sa internet...

ang kanang ikaduha nimo nga gipili shared > ad hoc meaning local network lang ka ni connect walay internet... kung sa PSP pa PSP to PSP connection lang na.

Maybe at that time sa pag try nimo sa infrastructure hinay ang signal. so far the best mobile phone wifi experience I've had was with the P990i. wala man problema diri sa akong apartment kai naa man ko wlan router so dili problema sa connection. try sa calabria bai free man ang wifi didto.
Ang hinumduman lang nimo is dapat nimo i add sa imong internet account ang wifi settings nimo para magamit nimo kung mag browse browse ka.
