Has anyone read this shojo manga Koukou Debut by Kawahara Kazune?

Just finished reading chapter 30 of koukou debut.

This is actually a shoujo romantic comedy manga. the story started with HARUNA wanting to make a high school debut. you see, when she was in middle school, she gave her all to her softball club. she has this toned body (from all the practicing), boyish habits and she is clueless to the latest trends. now that she is in high school, she wants to start fixing herself, find a boyfriend and live her school life in the same way as the shoujo manga that she likes to read. then she meets YOH. a popular guy (meaning he is good looking) who gives off this "i hate girls" aura. she overheard this conversation wherein somebody said, "Yoh, you really know what guys look for in a girl". so she then asked him to coach her to be popular with guys. he agrees under the condition that she must not fall in love with him.

I fell in love with this manga. Haruna is not your typical helpless shoujo heroine. She is very strong both physically and emotionally. Yoh is.... good looking. He is not a bad character but i'm a haruna fan so I dont care much about him. hehehe

If you have spare time, try reading this manga. If you are a shoujo fanatic and haven't encountered this manga, my friend, you really need to read this..

i hope it will have an anime adaptation, it sounds like it has great potential.

also, koukou = high school, so the title literally means high school debut.

you mean, debut as in the girly 18 yr old passage ceremony debut? or her debut as a 'start of a more girly' person in high school?
