This is the long-delayed South Korean film Dragon Wars. The reason for its long delay is apparently it's long post-production. This film is effects heavy. This is not the first time South Korea has proven that they can do world class feature length movies. The animated movie Wonderful Days released in 2003 and re-released as Sky Blue to western countries had imagery comparable to that of western and Japanese animated features.
We on the other hand are stuck on producing romantic movies that don't have any cinematic value whatsoever. Lame attempts have been made here and there due to lack of talent or simply the wrong decisions to hire the untalented ones, while the really talented ones prefer to work more on their craft privately in hopes of making it big outside the country someday, as they laugh at what they see in the local tv everyday. Everyday, our movie industry is being led to its doom. You see the signs in those talk shows, nobody cares about good movies, the masses just want to see their big, egotistic, untalented celebrities.
So can our movie industry do something like this? Technically speaking no. But if changes are done from the way things are right now, we might see a good probability.
off course you know all of this cuz you work korean compny b4, i bet i expect your reply from you.!!
