    Question network: how to Turn On PC from sleep in the network

    than as usual, ni-a na sab ko kay naa computer dire sa network nga naka-sleep mode


    unsa-on pag-Turn On balik sa maong computer nga di na adtuon o duolon? naa ba ni mga settings o software gamiton parehas anang Wake-Up-from-LAN?


    wa gyud ko kasabot kaayo ana ug nindut unta naa maka-share sa ilang mga kinatian ug kaalam mahitungod ani

    The computers should be connected to a single network. Then set one computer as a gateway (Need to run Linux and install Pfsense) naa ni siya function para sa wake-on-lan.

    wake-on-lan requires to have the NIC port, supported. It's specified on Pfsense.

    1. make sure hosts have wake-on-lan support and enabled sa BIOS.
    2. make sure you have an intermediate device / computer program that can send magic packets to hosts you want to wake up.

    the server and client host should be inside a common broadcast subnet.

    so how about if it's OS kay Windows-based? sa pagkakaron nagamit ko Windows 7 Ultimate ug ang usa ka computer kay Windows 7 Ultimate gihapon?



    does it still works with Pfsense? or does Pfsense is only intended or designed for Linux??

    not necessarily nga dapat ka mopadagan og pfsense sa imong network... you can search google for wake on lan softwares... daghan free for windows system... basta ma satisfy lang nmo tanan requirements... work na cya...

    wake on lan lang boss, or if ganahan ka ayaw lang e sleep dili man kaha nimo need nag monitor? or schedule nimo iyang sleep time.
