Default A good experience at Hola Espana

So far so good at Hola Espana, resto by the road into Maria Luisa. I went with my chef buddy, we normally like to try different restaurants once in a while, away from home and fast food. Anyway onto my thoughts, servers were professional, Great wine selection esp. their spanish wines not too acidy, rich and dark when glass tilted, good flavor. We started with seafood soup nice and rich w/ good flavor from the sea, tasted their Ceasar salad which was quite lumpy but stayed in line with Yolk and olive oil base, good parmesan cheese, tasted like Reggiano. Onto the Entree, we had Lengua and pollo with tons of garlic cooked in good olive oil, dash of chili, quite tasty, while the Lengua was perfect, flavor, texture, melt in your mouth. Suprisingly their deli and food stock were complete ie hamon serrano, complete set of Manchego, olive oils, pasta etc... the only downside was parking but other than that it was great Hope this helps next time u want a taste of spanish

Pricing for dish we had was around 270-320 give or take and serving size is medium to big ( had a hard time finishing lengua - 2 ppl)

Was able to try Hola Espana last Sunday.

We ordered the Gambas... Yummy! It has lots of olive oil, bell peppers and garlic.
Next, we had the Bruschetta... was delicious too! The mushroom topping has a very rich flavor. Enjoyed it!
Then we had Ceasar's Salad... the veggies were very fresh. Very good Salad.
For the Main course, we had:
Callos- again, it was really good. As for the lengua, everybody liked it except for me hehehe. We also had the fish with tomato, the fish wasn't so fresh but it was still delicious. As for the Osso Buco, it wasn't good... it was expensive and the risotto that came with it tasted really weird. La tegola's Osso Buco is much much better. Lastly, we had the Paella Valenciana... it was okay... not so great... just okay for me.

The prices of some of their dishes are a bit expensive and their servings are really small. So I give the restaurant a rating of 3/5.

Overall, I enjoyed dining at Hola Espanya. You guys should give it a try.
