    Default Seoul / Korea

    Hi Istoryans,

Kung naa mo mga tips kung unsa nindot adtoan sa Seoul or near provinces, we are planning with my family to have a quick 1 week vacation before we will back in cebu.

I believe no Visa needed for Filipino as what i learnt that there's no need for visa visiting korea for tourism.

    Countries under Visa Waiver Agreements
    Immigration Guide - Foreigners

Please confirm on these if anyone went already to korea.

Kindly share any tourist spots that most likely important if you go to korea.

    many thanks,

For the Philippines, only diplomatic/official passport holders can go to South Korea without a visa. Ordinary citizens with ordinary passports like me need a visa.

Please visit this blog for suggestions on places to go in Seoul: Mustachioventures

    Thanks.

Asa diay mo gikan TS? and where do you reside?

    lonely_planet is right.
If you have the ordinary Philippine passport, then you'll need a visa
but if you are a US citizen, you won't need visa

however, if I remember it correctly, a friend once told me na you can get a day tour visa if your connecting flight schedule permits you. and I'm not sure if pwede ba sad more than a day. basta naa lang kay flight sched, but it is unlikely.

Tourist spots: Nami Island, Namsan Park, Seoul Tower, Lotte World, Changdeokgung Palace, DMZ/border, Myeongdong, Kimhae Cherry blossom festival this late march!

Tips: mu adto palang mi this march if ma approve amo visa, hopefully hehehe anyway, para maka tipid mo, try staying in a guesthouse or hostels around myeongdong. kami, we're staying in "the hill guest house" kay nice ang location.

It is seemingly safe naman just be extra careful and always pay attention to your kids.
