    Default Independent Films anyone???


    Does anyone here knows of a good INDEPENDENT FILM? Please supply me the title/s, plot and if you know where I can get DVD copies.

    I think Napoleon Dynamite is a mainstream movie...but it was hilarous though.

    I think it started out as an indie feature, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, then later was bought over by a MTV pictures for distribution...I think...too lazy to research now.

    sa Cebu Indiie films daghan but I'm not sure if they're for sale. However, you may watch them during an event called "SALIDA" held at handuraw cafe.

    I agree with Vanceloma, Khavn Dela Cruz's movies are worth seeing. Personally, I like his Lata at Tsinelas.

    You can get foreign indie films at Astrovision.

    We have all been talking about "independent films" and "indies." But just what do we mean exactly by these words; just what exactly is our understanding of them.

    Perhaps, once we have a better grasp of these words, we can now proceed to articulate them in the artiness and craftmanship of the film medium.

    Basta kanang magpatawag nga "Indy" pero naay backer such as the DGA or a father from Zoetrope Productions, dili na tinu-od nga "Indy" piki daw na nga Indy...
