    Default Senators Pork Realignment

Senate pork riles House | Inquirer News

“I am a member of the House appropriations committee and our chair told us that we could not allocate our PDAF to our respective LGUs. Otherwise, I could have realigned my scrapped PDAF to Caloocan City. Why could senators do it and not congressmen? There should be uniform treatment,” Erice said in a phone interview.

i thought ang gi-ban katong PDAF lng sa mga congressman, dili ang sa senate ug sa president
that is why they can still allocate this to their pet projects/ pet organizations.

Among the senators who realigned funds was Bong Revilla Jr., who put P75 million in the Department of Health, P84.5 million in the Public Works department, and P35 million into the University of the Philippines System.

Senator Lito Lapid, meanwhile, allocated funding to the DOH (P5 million), Department of Social Welfare and Development (P2 million), and the Department of Public Works and Highways (P193 million).

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, for his part, allocated funding to the Philippine National Police (P7.4 million), the Philippine Army (P27.95 million), and the Philippine Navy (P22 million).,

Trillanes also allocated P102.45 million to the Office of the Secretary of Health, P4 million to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and P36.2 million to the Commission on Higher Education.

Senators Pia and Alan Peter Cayetano, JV Ejercito, Ralph Recto, Miriam Defensor-Santiago, and Jinggoy Estrada also realigned their shares of the PDAF, but the report did not provide a breakdown of the allocations.

According to an earlier report, Senator Estrada allocated P100 million to the City of Manila. His father, former President Joseph Estrada, is the mayor of Manila.
