Vonage - PLDT Call Charging.. - HELP!

Hi mga boss please redirect me if i posted my query on the wrong section... Situation is that we are paying for an unlimited call plan to US via Vonage VOIP by having an american number, what happened was PLDT was also charging us per minute per call tagged as international calls which entailed huge bills here. Is the charging system really like that or is there a misconfig on my part? hope someone can help... thanks in advance..

ang vonage ninyo device na cya gikan sa vonage o US? kung device na cya maam gi connect na nimo ang unit sa modem sa pldt unya walay labot ang pldt ana niya sa international calls, sa pldt internet connection ra gi provide para maka connect imo vonage adto sa ila network, sa pldt only local calls ra unta na except kung open imo line sa pldt nga maka tawag og international calls. sa pag dial og international call gamit sa vonage wala nay country code area code ra diritso, kung mo gamit ka sa pldt para maka tawag og international calls mo dial man ka og country code + area code + telephone number. e check lang daw na boss basin na bali ang mga connection nimo sa phone.
