Neeed your help - SURVEY on Tourism for the Cebuano Youth

We are doing a survey on tourism for Cebu youth. Our group is joining a tourism forum next week and we need feedback and data from a group of correspondents. You may me a resident of cebu or visited cebu. If you have time, please answer to the following questions:

1. Are tourism programs implemented by government and non-government in Cebu effective? (You may answer yes, no or no comment)

2. From your answer in no. 1, why do say so?

3. What do you think are areas for improvement in terms of promoting Cebu?

4. What do you think is the role of the youth to promote Cebu?

5. If you were given the chance to be the mayor or governor of cebu for a day, what will you do encourage the youth to love and promote the great city and province of Cebu?

I'm out of school youth.. will ya adopt me?
Anyway, here's my 2 cents of inputs:

1. Are tourism programs implemented by government and non-government in Cebu effective? (You may answer yes, no or no comment)

I'm not aware of any tourism programs by the government specific to the Cebuano youth folks like me hehe can you enumerate those if there are any? plans? but I do believe there are SK programs but then it only covers at the barangay level..

2. From your answer in no. 1, why do say so?

3. What do you think are areas for improvement in terms of promoting Cebu?

Tourism should not be specific for the youth it should be open to everyone specially foreigners.. do you think the youth are willing to spend money as a tourist? they don;t have source of income most of them are students and out-of-school youths.

I would suggest that one of your goal should help the youth to earn a living from the tourism industry in clean and ethical way.. and regulate those businessmen or talent agents or whatever you call it (pimps?) of endorsing thoseyoung cebuanas to become scort to those foreigners and opted to offer their body for s*x in exchange of earning a living and that's not right.

4. What do you think is the role of the youth to promote Cebu?
You may answer this question to yourself what are the things you can do to promote Cebu? like for example: observe traffic laws and rules by doing that you can contribute in a small way and you can start it today and I know there are a lot of things we can do not only for Cebu but also for the Philippines as a Filipino.

5. If you were given the chance to be the mayor or governor of cebu for a day, what will you do encourage the youth to love and promote the great city and province of Cebu?

For a day? come on you can't accomplish anything for a day.. even those who are in the position it will take them several years, terms to accomplish something hehe anyway, I can't think of anything.. I might spend the rest of the day at the capitol office and hang out with the old folks in politics and ask them to do a job for me for the youth hehe
