The Philippine government, both national and local, has disappointed the Yolanda victims and the Filipino people for being divided (ugly politics) and for being inefficient in doing its job.
Listen to Manny and look at how the Filipinos respond to him. "I dedicate this fight to the victims of the typhoon." "To God be the glory!" "Unity and purity." "I will see you there." Manny gives us a message of hope. He offers the punches he threw, and the punches he absorbed, for his countrymen. And even just for that, our people loved it. They have temporary relief, enjoyment and happiness despite their situation. As if Manny's victory is the people's victory over their suffering as Yolanda victims. He won by unanimous decision, but the Pacman just TKOed despair and hopelessness. Manny doesn't need PDAF a.k.a. Pork Barrel to help people. Shame on the congressmen who absented themselves from the House session after SC declared PDAF unconstitutional.
Rumors have it that Manny is planning to run for President.
