    Default The Perfect Lens

To start off this thread, I'm an amateur photographer and I just started photography in September this year. I have a very sexy thing for portraits. I did two shoots so far: a couple shoot and a portrait one using only kitlens.
These are some of the portrait shots I took:

The lenses I know so far that are good for portraits are the ff:

    EF 50 mm f/1.4 USM
    EF 85 mm f/1.8 USM
    EF 50 mm f/1.2L USM
EF 85 mm f/1.2L II USM

OH btw, I'm a Canon user.

But I've been meaning to ask, unsa nang lens kanang nindut kaayo ug bokeh ang bg pero ma focus ang subject? For example:

Would greatly appreciate a reply regarding this. (*^*) Much better if iapil pud ninyu ang price range. Please and thank you.

Also please use this thread if naa pud photographer dira na ganahan sad mangutana unsai nindut na lens for a certain genre.

portrait lens mo naa ra nah sa mga 70 to 135mm range.. perfect gud for portraits kay ang 85mm kay dili gud ma distorted, (longer range nga lens like the 105 okay ra man pero mo flat siya gamay, same goes for higher focal range pero you get extra creamy bokey because mo distort man ang background due to compression).. kalimot ko how much though ang 85mm pero for your lens keep using lang your kit lens ma kuha ra man nah nimo ang effects with a few techniques.. kay ang 55mm nga lens with a crop factor of 1.6 mo gawas siya ug 88mm equivalent sa full..

kung tight imu budget ang 50mm is a good investment another option is flash (which I recommend)

    here are few shoots nako
    with the 135mm http://www.flickr.com/photos/thedark...y/10054399775/
with the 50mm Flickr: Please wait...

I want to know unsa ang best na lens na makakuha ug whole body shot nya focus ang subject and ang bg kai bokeh kai planning to take outfit shots. Thank you sir in advance.

kana babaye na ga lakaw with crowd sir... imho kay 70-200 2.8 gamit guro ana... if whole body then i isolate nimo siya sa background telephoto lenses do that... i think maka buhat gihapon ang 85 1.8 ana... if you want... ask a friend na naay 85 1.8, 50 1.8 ug 70-200 2.8 then borrow and test it all you want.... 105 or 135 can do it also...

wa ko ka rember mismo asa exacty part gud ko nag focus.. pero check her head down to the ripples sa iyang swimsuit di buh klaru? kay when mag focus ka naa ka area or zone nga sharp.. tanawa pud ang water from the model hantod sa background and forground.. medjo sharp2x pah until ni gradual blur siya.. so as long as di lang ka mo move ug forward or backward (or the same distance ka sa imu subject) ang imu focused nga area should be sharp.. technique lang nah.. hehehe.. if wa ka lngaw i can share what I know over coffee or PM me or reply lang
