Nkatabang mn ug dako ang media sa mga taw, pero at the same time nakatabang pod ug dako
ang kalamidad sa ilang negosyo na TV, Print & Radio as business.

on TV as what my observation:
-abs-cbn : More on business than in public service sumtimes bias in reporting.
-gma-7 : More on public service than in business...sumtimes truthful in reporting.
-tv5 : they balance in public service & in business, kulang sa magagaling na reporter.

Lagi ng tulong nila especially for those people who are apart from their family living in affected cities.

Philippine media is very dirty. You can actually make a lot of money working in media if you work unethically. Radio commentators, blocktimers, news outlets, and newspapers can be paid to condition the patrons into the intended effect. Case in point are radio blocktimers who constantly spew bad things about a certain personality and demand payment for temporary abatement of such media attacks. Because of this some mediamen are murdered or silenced with violence since once they can find a willing victim they won't hesitate to continue extorting them dry.

The higher the medium of info used, from audio to video to internet, the higher the premium. Most if not all media here are not independent save for some that came from the grass-roots level. If only we can improve our internet speeds and lessen the cost of broadband communication then they will definitely change how we view media.
