PC Games settings.. am I missing something?? GPU Bottleneck??

Naglibog ko? Im using a 7870.. gikan kog 4870 (significant upgrade IMO)

so mao ni ako question.. sa pagkakaron.. gaduwa q skyrim (wala net sa aq gstayhan) ma.ultra nako ang settings.. max nako tanan.. pero FPS capped at 60..

duwa pud q modern Warfare 4.. Max nako tanan settings.. 30-80 FPS but hover at 50FPS..

im only using a 7870.. but my FPS is "good" im using 1920x1200 resolution

if naMAX nako ang settings and nindot akong FPS.. whats the use of using a GTX 690 or higher cards? naa bay setting sa game nga mas higher pah sa ako nakita?

dili mana ana ka bug-at ang imo games gidula... try playing the new hitman game or crysis at max settings

FRAPS gamit nimo? if yes, i-capture sa log nya bro. tua did2 ang detalye... gabi-i, sa akoang pag duwa sa main gaming rig, naka bantay ko's Crysis 3 (max out GFX preset @ 8x MSAA and max multiplayers - 16 players) nko pud... ang head-up fps display sa FRAPS, nag cap lang ug 60 fps. pero, ang detail kay makit-an sa logs nya... actual fps log kay greater than 60 fps man...

but if sa other games like BF3, wala sya mag cap @ 60 fps on the head-on display... full gyud na above 120+ ang fps sa head-up display nya...

above 40 fps (constant fps), mura'g ok na kaayo na sa atoang mata... more than this, para sa akoa, dili ta maka kita... gawas mo kalit lang ug drop ang frame rate to below 30 fps... kani na time, kita kaayo sya... sa akaong m-ATX rig na mag average ug above 40 fps on ultra settings @ 1080p on BF3, wla ko'y mabantayan na difference nya w/ my main gaming rig na mag average ug greater than 120 fps on ultra settings @ 1080p on BF3...

ganihang buntag diay kay nag pilit ug 32 fps ang head-on display sa Crysis 3 on the m-ATX rig... pero, check nko ang average log sa FRAPS, naa man sa 40 fps pud...

murag wala kaayo... try daw other games or 3d benchmark if stuck ba gihapon ka about 60 fps max. clean and reinstall new drivers. ayaw pud kalimut install catalyst application profile

The answer to that is no.

Fps nimo now is 50 to 60.

If you get a higher end card, the fps will be higher.

MW4 is a game with a six year old engine, vanilla ( w/o mods ) skyrim can be run on an apu on high settings at 1080p. If you want to fully utilize that card on those two games, crank the eye candy in the catalyst control center.

Update Skyrim to Ultra HD Texture pack. Also try Witcher 2 with ubersampling enabled. Kana ra usa nga setting mokamang na gani ang 680.

Other than bragging rights? We tend to be overkill that's why. If Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare pasabot nimo, aw syempre kaya kau its an old game with old engine. Masking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 kaya man gani sa 7770 high settings pana but at 720p.
