    Default Joomla VS Wordpress

I haven't seen Joomla and still learning about Wordpress, If you have a good grasp of both, please give me a comparison of both platforms, their pros and cons and your opinion why you like to use one over the other.

    Thank you.

Yes that's what I'm learning now, but some say to go with Joomla, I checked out some videos and stuff, but I'd like to know from someone who has already learned both and proficient enough to tell the pros and cons of both.

    +1

If you site TS is more of a blog then go wordpress, but if you wanted more functionality on your site go joomla. Mosthly I noticed people from other countries use wordpress a lot over joomla even if it's not a blog site.

But if you know wordpress then you will not have a problem with joomla both are easy to go with, easy to create plugins, module, components, extensions etc. There are tutorials on the web to help you with.

Also it would be better if you will know other PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter or Yii or other.

Thanks for the information that you have shared, I got some hold on Joomla, still getting the hang of it, but I cant say I like it more than WP but I am more inclined to continue learning more about WP. I'll let you all know if I did something noteworthy.
