Default Cong. Escudero true to his service?

The most powerful weapon of the opposition was Cong. Escudero...
I think he was doing great for the balance of our nation...

This is a minor question that affects the future of the administration and the oppostion leaders of or country

I used to like this young and strong congressman. Very tact and consistent. I thought he was the man who can give new hope to our political culture here in the Philippines. But the way things are happening, I think he is getting like to become one of the tradional politicians in the country. My hope of having a brand new political culture in the Philippines is gone. Maayo unta ni sya kaya fresh and young pa, makahatag unta og bag-ong nawong sa politika sa Pinas pero sama ra giahpon diay siya sa iyang mga kauban nga TRAPO.

I don't think he can help the situation now, sorry to tell that he has personal interest also.

I think Cong. Francis Escudero of Sorsogon is young and brilliant. On the other hand he's so ambitious. You're not elected by your constituents para mgSatsat ng mgSatsat with your Tagalog eloquence na ang gandang pakinggan d nga lang namin alam kung tama ba. As a congressman you should buckle down to work as a lawmaker should. Sayang ka para pumayag na gawin tuta nila Erap at FPJ, and now even to Roces! Huwag kang mgpagamit and surely you'll go a long way up the ladder...

Escudero has the eyes of a snake and all the sincerity of one.

The only thing he has going for him is the way he talks. He may sound brilliant, but then again Ferdinand Marcos also sounded brilliant in his speeches. Escudero comes across as too slick, too glib to be trusted, at least in my opinion.

While youth may be part of his appeal, he is obviously becoming another Trapo. You do not become a minority leader by being a nice guy. Give him a few more years and you won't recognize him anymore. The same thing goes for any young politician out there--Ace Barbers, Darlene Antonino-Custodio, Mike Defensor or whoever. They are all just trapos-in-training. We expect them to change the system but the sad reality is the system will change them.

At the end of the day a congressman is there to serve his constituents. He's there to pass laws and allocate projects that will benefit the people who elected him into office. Ask Escudero's constituents in Sorsogon whether their congressman has had enough time to do that for them in between pushing for impeachment, launching investigations, jockeying for face time on TV and in general just badgering the adminstration and being a pain in Gloria's neck, and you might find they're not too happy with him. Everyone knows he's positioning himself for a place in the Senate, and he may just get it. He may even shine there. In the senate you can grandstand all you want because you don't have to worry about constituents.

Ang akong idol diha sa congreso karon kay si Congressman "Way Kurat" Zamora.
