try reading sa otn.oracle.com daghan kaayo didto nga resources for free... try also sa forums.oracle.com kay daghan pud dha mo tabang sa imo. depende lang na..... or try basa sa manual nya.. kay naa man gud cya mga pre-installation requirements....

I have only a Linux OS. I cannot afford a MS Windows OS.

I haven't tried installing in Linux but I know we can do it.

It could have been many of us already installed Oracle in a non-network computer by just putting static ip address. I don't get it.

Anyway, for me this is not more of business, I just want to help guys who wanted to learn Oracle, if you care and if you want high pay.
Other databases for tutorials, I can have it free but for Oracle I say no. Only big companies use oracle, therefore, their oracle guys also have a high pay.bottom line...

I think sa akong sabot anang static ip kay kanang kitawag ug loopback network (i.e. localhost). Kung maka ping ka sa imong pc (even without a network) locally (i.e ping localhost). I think naa na ka static ip.
