SOLD OUT. . . MODz Please close. Thanks again iStorya!
Asa man ang imong e-mod ani ang processor or ang motherboard? Those Xeons will not work with LGA775 motherboards unless naa magic buhaton lol.
Ask ko kay just in case mada-ot ang board and we get a new LGA775 one, dili na mo run ang Xeon mangita nasad ko nimo.
1. No modifications done that will damage your motherboard.
2. Nothing is done to damage the Xeon processors themselves, they came from US pre-configured so it is highly unlikely that these processors will get damaged.
3. You can re-insert your LGA775 processor seamlessly if mapul-an ka sa imong Xeon, so you won't be missing me if I'm gone! LOL!
up ko ni doki...nice!!!
simple mod ra ang buhaton sa socket area sa mobo...kuhaon ra nang guide notch para pasulod ning socket 771 to socket 775...daog na...
is this another Marketing BS!? ^_^
makalupig di-ay ang 775 based XEON proc sa i3/i5 karon? 0_o
then na-a di-ay i3 ug i5 nga 775 socket?
XEONS CAN'T be overclocked [basin UNDERCLOCK imo pasabot?] but you are right on running cooler
your post is a bit overrated on some areas BUT its a good upgrade nontheless...
ps. we aim for the right info so that all is good. NO FLAMEWARS ok! ^_^
You are entitled to your own opinion sir, and I can't blame you.
Here is a comparison from a third party site for Xeon X3260 vs. Core i7 640M with no BS!!!
These Xeon processors that we have are socket 771s preconfigured to be installed on socket 775 motherboards with only a very little mod sa mobo as stated by sir Simoko.
Yes sir you are right, I just wanted to make a point that it can compare with an i5 or i7 proc's performance at a fraction of the price. and that this is not just marketing BS.
I will try to OC one (1) proc installed here in our desktops and see how well it will fare on AIR alone when I have the time and post the results. Thanks!
