Allies of President Arroyo have proposed major changes in the administration, starting with a Cabinet revamp, after the opposition’s victory in the May 14 elections.
Sen. Edgardo Angara, a former opposition leader who ran under the administration’s Team Unity in the last senatorial polls, said the bad performance of the administration ticket in the national elections “requires a drastic facelift” of the government.
He said the senatorial elections were a good barometer of the people’s sentiments nationwide.
