HELP PLS!! Kinsa naa experience sa annulment?

I left my husband in 2010 due to irreconcilable differences (BIG TIME!). No contact after that whatsoever - messy kaayo ang hitabo. Anyway, to make the story short, I received a Summon last month kay nagfile sya ug annulment. We live in different provinces, by the way - he's somewhere in Mindanao, I'm here sa Cebu.

I was advised not to show up sa court hearings para madali daw ang case. Yesterday lang, my Uncle from Bohol informed us through text nga naa daw gideliver nga subpoena para nako. Wala pod niya gibasa nor gi-accept. Anyway, ingon ag pulis nga nagdeliver sa subpoena nga ireturn daw niya to sa sender kay wrong address man ang gideliveran (not my place of residence. why didto gideliver? I don't know).

Here are my questions:
- Puwede diay ka ma-isyuhan subpoena bisan sa annulment case?
- What can you advice regarding ani?
- Any tip for my next move?

Nagresearch ko bahin ani. Looks like sa annulment cases, there are many instances nga dili mo show-up ang isa ka party sa tanan hearings para madali ang kaso.

Please help. I'd like to hear your opinions before ko morefer sa lawyer. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Pero nindot man gud pod ug naa feedback sa naa na experience ngani nga case.

Actually, ang most common reason [para dali ma-approve ang annulment] is Psychological Incapacity. If that's what it would take para ma-annul me, sige na lang - siya bitaw bayad. Actually, mao na iya grounds for annulment base sa summon ako na-receive.

yes, a subpoena is only a legal document that you are being summoned by the court of course to defend yourself kung unsa man ang pasangil sa imong bana. kana kung interesado ka ug nag matter nimo ug unsay iyang gipasangil nimo. now, 2 things, u can show up and defend yourself, kung wala kay abugado, tagaan ka sa court kay ikaw man ang gidemanda, tagaan ka ug pao ug dili ka ka afford ug private nga counsel. 2nd, ug interesado ka ma annul dayun mo, then dont show up. anyways, wala man maka abot sa imoha ang summon. mas dali mogawas ang result sa annulment ug dili ka magpakita, although mag summon by publicity pana imong ex. been there, so i know. hope this helps

ang annulment is a case. ayaw kahadlok anang subpoena kay para rana sa hearing.dili ka ma priso ana.hehe.unless if concubinage ang grounds.

- What can you advice regarding ani?
just live normally lang. mas maayo dili ka mo attend sa hearing kay mas madali ang resolution.

- Any tip for my next move?
bisan wala nimo nadawat ang subpoena, okay ra au toh kay mupadayon man gihapon na ang case.


pila mo ka years nga minyo? afaik if ang marriage kay less than 7 years mas dali man siya labi na ang grounds kay irreconcilable differences. pero if more than 7 years aw dapat andam ka maghuwat ug years for the resolution.hehe.

Update:
My soon-to-be-ex-hubby knows my current location, pero until now wala man gihapon ko nadawat subpoena. I mean, wala nila giforward sa ako right address. I hope ma-approve na ning annulment soon...can't wait to have this over and done with.

4 years ra mi married. Iya gi-file na annulment kay based man on psychological incapacity. tsk tsk. sige lang, basta ma-approve. go lang ng go.

I have no intention whatsoever to show up. Mao pod na ako nadunggan sa mga naka-experience na annulment - mas mapadali daw ang process if dili mo show-up. Nobody warned me about the subpoena, though. At least, now I know nga okay ra diay na. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
