Working Abroad Procedure

Hi Istoryans,

Ask lang unta ko unsa jud ang procedure and what are the fees nga atong bayaran sa OWWA para makalarga abroad. I already have an employer abroad - language school sya kay mag English Teacher man ko didto... and they are processing my work permit karon og invitation sa company para magamit nako ang documents to apply for a working visa here sa atoa... Now, my question is unsa pa man akong buhaton if naa na koy visa? I suppose I still have to go through some procedures sa OWWA or POEA before ko makalarga even if wala ko ning-agi og agency diri sa atoa... Also how much ang atong bayaran nga membership or unsa ba na nga fee sa OWWA... Please enlighten me katong naka try na og abroad.

Mas maayo unta to miss ug naa kay agency at least to guide you sa requirements. Or better go to POEA ask them kung unsa jud imong mga kinahanglan pang buhaton para ma kompleto nimo tanan. In my case working in MID-East, gi pa red ribbon naku akong mga credentials sa school like diploma and TOR and then ang akong agency na ang nag submit sa embassy sa place kung asa ko mo work. And then murag kinahanglan pud ang imong mga certificates. Medical also. Basta for further info adto nlang gyud sa POEA para cgurado..

To which country man diay imo job assignment Sis?

Cleared na kuno tanan. See quotes below lang:

Didto na ko POEA @jackdi. Nagmedical na pud ko after 3 days pa ang result. PDOS pud ko today.
Gipad-an pud ako employer ug "Compliance Sheet" which is required pra sa issuance sa ako OEC.

Medical Exam ug PDOS and others were done while processing ra pud sa OEC. Apil naman pud na deay didto tanan.
All is well, all is well... Hope ok ra pud ang result sa medical. After that, lukat na ug plane ticket.

p.s. Dili ko anang tourist2x, naa man jud klarong employer agi na lang jud ta sa saktong processo pra dili ta mayabo. The employer has been kind enough to assist me pud if unsa gani gina-require sa ila, abtik man pud ug response.

Pwede pod nimo adtoon jud sa ila office sa old Isular Building sa gorordo.

wondering why POEA is asking too much just to get cleared.. mga 7,800 pesos daw bayaran.....para unsa kaha na... sa POEA lang na alone way labot sa pa medical...hmmm
