    Default wat's d best sql back-end?


    guys.. based on your own experiences.. unsa mn ang nice nga sql back-end? we're using vfp8-9

    mysql?
    ms-sql?

    any suggestions highly appreciated tnx.....

    have you tried reading about Oracle?

    MSDE - is free, can easily migrate to MsSQLServer hassle-free.

    MySQL requires linux but free.

    MsSQLserver lisence cost about $2000-$4000 for single server standard edition.
    $15000 to $20000 for enterprise edition (no kidding)

    Try to research about Oracle10g Standard Edition One .. which caters most of the SMB's here in pinas...
