My First Tips: Keep on your MIND: "save first then spend not spend first then save..."

Invest in a mutual fund, insurance or any other investment that is fit for your risk appetite. Don't just rely on a normal bank account to save, it won't help you.

If you think about it, you're actually paying them to keep your money when you pay for ATM withdrawal fees and penalties when you go under your balance. Oops.

My tip would be: avoid necessary spending and if ever you do spend on something, make sure it won't be a liability but an asset

- avoid the quick rich scheme (i.e. lotto, sweepstakes, etc), kay dili ka makabalo ana unsaon pag tipig sa kwarta, as a result, it will just make you an ultimate spender.
- practice the word "patience"
- be financially literate, join activities/talks that will increase one's financial wisdom. saving is just one of them....

pay obligations as much as you could - and on time
budget your money well, especially for baby, and pay yourself as well
