Maayong adlaw sa tanan!

I'm a tagalog who married a Cebuana and now based here in Cebu. I'm a food enthusiast and wants to find out how Cebuanos cook and prepare their foods. Please share your own versions of your favorite Cebuano dishes like, tinola, larang, balbacua etc. so that others like me would have ideas how to prepare these delicious Cebuano foods. Give tips on how to cook, where to get the ingredients or simply comment whatever you can contribute.

Larang

-Fish of choice (i also use stingray)
-lots of tomatoes
-camias or iba
-onion
-spring onions
-ginger
-lemon grass
-water or fish stock (dilute fish cubes for a quick and convenient fish stock)
-salt
and it would be better if you also add sampaloc paste? i think you can buy these at your local grocery stores. I make mine.

Preparation:
-saute spices
-add fish
-add water or fish stock
-leave to cook
-adjust seasoning
-adjust sourness. (it should not be that sour, or else it would be a sinigang. Just in right in between sweet and sour)
