Kinsay naka try na og flash sa ilang nvidia or ati cards? Katong naka try na og flash mo ask ko if kung mag reformat ko sa akong PC ma reset sad ba ang bios sa graphics card? Thanks

BIOS is firmware not windows software. It sticks with the hardware, in your case the card and not in the OS.

ngano e flash mn nmu ang bios sa imo gpu bro? Naay problema? If walay problema yaw lang na hilabti hinglabi na sa dili kaau sweto bsn mao ra ny hinungdan maguba na..

permanent na na...kung masipyat ka ug flash,permanent sad nga guba imo gpu...why man imo i flash?

Haha wala lng gud experiment lng, ok man kaau siya walay problema. Ako lng g try cya og flash nya ni ask lng ko bcn ma usab siya inig reformat. Akong pc is running fine walay blema, experiment rajud tanan hehe add sa impormasyon ba ^_^ ang pag restore is same japon e flash ra nimo. But then again akong question is if ma restore ba siya pinaagi sa reformat. Lamats diay sa answers
Nindot japon e upgrade kay ddr3 ramn gud ang GT 640. D man ko heavy gamer, kinda performance hog lng ko

@ TS,
if you'll perform a GPU BIOS update, be sure to save 1st the original BIOS... so that if unwanted things will happen, you can reflash it back to its original state... dali ra kaayo na ang pag flash... pero, make sure, stable ang kuryente sa lugar... ayaw nang mag sige'g fluctuate or brown out kay basin modako ang probs nmo...
naa ra daghan software (utilities) sa net na ma download for the BIOS flash...
sa imohang question about reformat, dili ka mag reformat sa HDD nmo. BIOS flashing doesn't have to do anything on your OS... except if ang ma download nmo na BIOS update utility naa virus... hehehe...
GT 640 will remain as is... bisan pa i flash na nmo'g GTX 690, its performance will remain a GTX 640 DDR3... by the way, before, naka palit ko'g kulurom na GPU... it was sold as a Galaxy GTX 640 DDR5 1GB... but in reality, it was a Sparkle GT 240 DDR5 1GB... i had posted it here man gani...

by the way TS, nice GT 640 you've got there... its a factory OC'ed variant... mine was just a reference design from Maxsun w/ 2GB DDR3 but had manually OC'ed it to a Gigahertz model... hehehe...Last edited by lloyd_joy; 06-11-2013 at 01:42 PM.

Salamat salamat, it performs very well no artifacts can be seen while playing. Ni increase pd cya pag gamit nako og performance test using PassMark 1,395 ang score niya before kay 1,305 ra cya ahaha, I know gamay ra kaau ni e compare sa inyoha hahahaha
